Harvey's Table Hockey Post

Thanks for dropping by Harvey's Table Hockey Post. I will be using this space to journalize my refound love for the sport of table hockey. I have been a competitive player with the Stiga brand of table hockey for over two years now, much to the amazement (and to some, disbelief) of my family, friends, colleagues, and strangers. Currently, I am a member and Vice President of the Vancouver Table Hockey League (VTHL), in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. This space will assist in explaining this passion of mine.

 

Check out a video from the Oresund Cup 2006 final playoff series between Hans Österman (left), the current World Rank #1 player from Sweden, and Finn Fries, #3 also from Sweden. Österman took the series 4-1. I was fortunate enough to compete in this great event, held 3-4 February, which is regarded as the most prestigious table hockey tournament in the world. More on this event to follow.
